Islamabad police get 4-day remand of alleged extortionists



ISLAMABAD: A special anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday sent six police and CDA workers on a four-day physical remand in connection with their alleged extortion activities.
Police produced the accused before Judge Atiq ur Rehman and pleaded their seven-day remand.

HARARE: Zimbabwe completed only their 11th test victory with a dramatic 24 run win over Pakistan at Harare club on Saturday to draw the series 1-1.It was Zimbabwe's first test win over any team expect Bangladesh since 2001.The Visitors started the final day on 158 for five wickets, still requiring 106 runs for victory,and were kept in the game by captain Misbah-ul-Haq's unbeaten 79.
